Great Ways to Say I Love You...

***Hey! I’m choosing blue, because it’s the colour of love… The best ways to say "I love you" to your spouse are usually in simple, everyday, seemingly unimportant ways. Someone once wrote; "Words and deeds that say 'You enrich my life' go on forever." Here are some suggestions to get your own creative juices flowing so that your love for one another will go on forever. * Make sure you say "I Love You" at least once each day to your spouse. * Write unexpected love notes. * Give your mate an unexpected hug, a surprisingly romantic kiss, or a teasing tickle often * Be spontaneous and surprising with winking at each other, whisking your spouse away for an unexpected weekend alone, star-gazing together, taking a walk in the rain with one another. * Share memories by looking at old photographs and talking about memories you share together. * Schedule a day to just be leisurely together * Liste...

Are You Wrong?

It's been a while now...I've been so busy and I miss blogging. How are you all? Here's an interesting piece for my friends who will soon tie the knot...Tayo Ponmile, Toyin Lawal, my cousin - Jamiu Hassan,...and my married friends /Cousin - Wunmi (Ogundele) Mokikan, Bukky (Owoyele) Abraham, Yinka (Adulami) Paul, Michael Gomina, Tolu (Ihimodu) Fakayode, Bola (Oyelohunnu) Leo and so on. And to me, and some of my friends who are not tying the knot yet... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- …then, make things right Throughout your marriage, you will make mistakes. Although small mistakes will not initially hurt your marriage, if you do not acknowledge your mistakes, or you become defensive or justify your mistakes, those behaviours will create hostility and a lack of trust between you and your spouse. It doesn't make any difference if you've made an insignificant mistake or a...

A Post from My Friend, Arinola

To My Friends Who Are …Single Love is like a butterfly, the more you chase it, the more it eludes you. But if you just let it fly, it will come to you when you least expect it. Love can make you happy but often it hurts, but love’s only special when you give it to someone who really worth it. So take your time and choose the best. To My Friends Who Are…Not So Single Love isn’t about becoming somebody else’s “perfect person”. It’s about finding someone who helps you become the person you can be. To My Friends Who Are…Play Boy/Girl Type Never say, “I love you” if you don’t care. Never talk about feelings if they aren’t there. Never touch a life if you mean to break a heart. Never look in the eye when all you do is lie. The cruelest thing a man can do to a girl is to let her fall in love when he doesn’t intend to catch her fall and it works both ways… To My Friends Who Are…Married Love is not about “it’s your fault,” but “I’m sorry.” Not “where are you,” but “I’m right ...

Na By Force to Marry

Got this from Linda Ikeji’s blog site and I thought I should share it with you. It’s so funny Na By Force to Marry During a wedding reception; the groom was called upon to give his vote of thanks to his guests and this is what he came up with: 1. I want to first of all thank the Lord Almighty for creating my wife And to also thank the pastor and his wife for lending us their wedding rings. 2. Special appreciation to my landlord who lent us his car. 3. I am most grateful to my boss for approving the loan I used for the wedding. 4. Big thanks to the committee of friends for the appeal fund they raised on my behalf. 5. Also to my brother's wife, thank you for lending us your wedding gown. 6. Am so grateful to the cake designer for the cake. I promised to return it tomorrow morning as agreed without cutting or eating out of it. 7. Special thanks to my friends who brought food from their homes to help me feed you all. Please for those who were served food good luck a...

Love: Deep, Passionate, Hurtful & Unconditional

Hi all, quite some time now. I've been so so busy, I could not write because of my job. Anyway, I'm back for a while. How are you all doing? Missed your comments. I don't really have something gen gen to write today other than to tell you this: Love deeply and passionately, you might get hurt, but it's the best way to live to the fullest! The first time I came across this saying, I had a deep meditation. I'm being asked to "love deeply"; "love passionately" even if I get hurt, I should still love...Then I asked my self, is it possible to love someone you know is cheating on you? Can I do it? Though, I've never been jilted before, but if it happens (God forbid), will I still be able to look into the person's eyes and still say " I LOVE YOU"? Hmmm. You know I keep thinking, what does it mean to love unconditionally? It means (simply) to love without conditions; without "if's", "in cases", "peradventu...
